Body image and the media part 1 with a focus on boys.

Citizenship and punishments including prisons
Key Knowledge that students should know at the end of 'Topic' This is the knowledge that students will meet for the first time in this topic 

In this unit Students will learn about: Islamaphobia, Sharia Law, stereotyping, British Values, Domestic violence and running away from home. Also, Boys body image with relation to media pressure and what life is like in Prison.  Taught within the science curriculum: introduction to contraception

Additional lessons addressing specific needs:

How to identify racism and understand why its unacceptable
This is knowledge that students may have met before but will need to deepen their understanding  Most students will have previously studied aspects of Family - and repectful relationships and may have prior knowledge of gender identity and equality along with basic online safety
Key Skills that students should be able to demonstrate at the end of 'Topic' This is the skills  that students will meet for the first time in this topic In order to prepare students for life they must be given the opportunity to develop skills and attributes such as resilience, self-esteem, risk-management, teamworking and critical thinking in the context of three core themes: health and wellbeing, relationships and living in the wider world (including economic wellbeing and aspects of careers education)
