| What will students learn | Students will learn about the difference between biographies and autobiographies as well as studying a selection of extracts from autobiographies of various important people in history. Students will also learn about perception by learning to compare the autobiographical account with the account of the same person/event in other biographies. Students will learn how to produce their own autobiographical extract and a biographical extract for someone else. Students will develop their formal letter writing skills. As an independent learning task, students will re-read their knowledge organisers from previous units in order to refresh learning on seminal authors’ biographical details as inspiration for the biographies | ||
