What will students learn How to use the techniques of two point perspective when drawing architecture. Students will learn about the major architectural styles from around the world. They will explore the work of two contemporary British artists who's main subject matter is architecture and observing perspective.
Key Knowledge that students should know at the end of 'Topic' This is the knowledge that students will meet for the first time in this topic  How to use the technique of two point perspective to create accurate architectural observations of local landmarks and architecture.
This is knowledge that students may have met before but will need to deepen their understanding  The importance of creating the illusion of perspective to add depth and dimension to a piece of work. Colour theory and knowledge of colour mixing.
Key Skills that students should be able to demonstrate at the end of 'Topic' This is the skills  that students will meet for the first time in this topic How to skilfully  use two point perspective to accurately draw local architecture.
This is skills that students may have met before but will need to develop  How to use oil pastel to create tone and depth. How to use a ruler to create perspective. How to accurately observe from secondary source images.
