|Key Knowledge that students should know at the end of 'Topic'||This is the knowledge that students will meet for the first time in this topic||In this unit Students will learn about: Knife crime and its dangers, the law and young offenders, self discipline, employability skills. Enterprising behaviour and sustainability.|
|This is knowledge that students may have met before but will need to deepen their understanding||Most students will have previously studied aspects of Life - Living in the Wider World and may already have purposeful career aspirations and designed a pathway to achieve them.|
|Key Skills that students should be able to demonstrate at the end of 'Topic'||This is the skills that students will meet for the first time in this topic||In order to prepare students for life they must be given the opportunity to develop skills and attributes such as resilience, self-esteem, risk-management, teamworking and critical thinking in the context of three core themes: health and wellbeing, relationships and living in the wider world (including economic wellbeing and aspects of careers education).Students will acquire the skills to make healthy judgements regarding getting involved in criminal activity and have the skills to avoid them. Students will be able to develop their skills ready for the workplace and be able to demonstrate enterprise.|
