What students will learn Wider range of family members, including non-traditional family units, wider range of ambitious adjectives to describe relationships, expressing advantages and disadvantages, complex opinion phrases, free time activities in the present, perfect and future tense, separable verbs, reflexive verbs, accusative and dative pronouns.
Key Knowledge that students should know at the end of 'Topic' This is the knowledge that students will meet for the first time in this topic  Wider range of family members, including non-traditional family units, wider range of ambitious adjectives to describe relationships, pocket money, expressing advantages and disadvantages, complex opinion phrases, separable verbs, reflexive verbs, accusative and dative pronouns.
This is knowledge that students may have met before but will need to deepen their understanding  Knowledge of phonics, high frequency verbs (strong and weak), verb conjugation, perfect tense, future tense.
Key Skills that students should be able to demonstrate at the end of 'Topic' This is the skills  that students will meet for the first time in this topic Extending receptive and productive skills to identify and create more detailed information and opinions. Increasing understanding of different types of verbs and their usage. Using more complex connectives and sentence structures.
This is skills that students may have met before but will need to develop  Conjugating verbs in the present tense (strong and weak), perfect tense, future tense, using complex connectives.
Key vocabulary that students should know and understand Vocabulary on personal characteristics, relationships with family members, pocket money, where you live, free time activities.
